The brief was to create a logo and visual identity for a genealogy consultancy that offered training, consultancy advice and research. After discussion, we decided to use a theme of uncovering 'layers' of the past through all the visuals; and to focus on people (i.e. those who actually were your ancestors), as a means of engaging with the audience.  The four-colour scheme was inspired by period colours, which will be used partly to differentiate the different strands of the consultancy's services.
An animated graphic for My Family Genealogy's website. The idea was to suggest layers of family history being 'uncovered', and the process of discovering who your ancestors might have been.
